Burlesque

Yesterday I wrapped myself up in my Hello Kitty blanket on the sofa with my cat, Mary, and I finally got round to watching "Burlesque" starring Christina Aguilera and Cher. It's the story of a girl named Ali who turns her back on her boring life in Iowa and moves to LA in the hope of becoming a singer or dancer. A burlesque dancer catches her eye and she follows her into the club and is blown away by what she sees. I was too, to be honest! The glamorous make-up and glitzy costumes were really appealing.

I'm not sure this film will be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it :)
