Stormy weather in the Toon

I have seen nothing like the weather today ever before!! The sky went a really unusual colour, it was really warm and muggy, then boom the thunder and lightening came! It was really loud and actually quite scary! I've snaffled a few photos from friends to show you the total devestation in Newcastle after the amazing amount of rain that fell in the short space of time. The first pic is mine when the storm really began to set in.

Here is my local pub, mid flood! Everyone was told to go upstairs until the storm drains kicked in and the water levels fell!!!
