Fur baby

Today we went straight from work to adopt our cat! We saw his advert online and fell in love with him and when we called the lady told us there was someone interested and was going to see him but she would keep our details just in case. That same night we got a message saying he wasn't going to be homed with them so he was available for us if we still wanted him, which, of course, we did!

So we went to their house and they invited us in and he was in a radiator hammock next to his Mam, all sleepy and small and cute! We talked briefly about what he was like, paid our money and took him home. He really didn't like being in the car, but once we were home he had a good old nose around and played with his toys and had something to eat before taking the longest nap. (We put that down to too much excitement and too much heat for one day!) My parents and brother came round for a visit and they couldn't get over how small he is. The family cat Mary has always looked quite small, but she seems huge compared to our little baby.

My brother was looking through boys names and threw out Angus and we immediately knew it was the name for him with my fiancĂ© being Scottish and all.

We are both completely smitten with him and we think he is smitten with us. Sometimes he zooms around the house and has a crazy half hour, sometimes he comes to us for cuddles and nuzzles right into us, sometimes he causes utter mayhem and sometimes he has long, stretched out snoozes. He is only 15 weeks old so still just a baby and he has a lot to learn but he is learning fast.

Welcome to our family Angus. We love you xxx
