Poor Mary =(

Remember this little face?

(For those that read my old blog I wrote a whole post about her.) Well, she came home on Friday night and jumped up onto my knee as usual. She was staring into my face but I didn't really think anything of it. Then my Mam, who's been away for a fortnight, came to pick her up and she went crazy! Spitting and growling and struggling to get away. So Mam put her down and she ran away all lop sided and was walking funny. Then we noticed the abscess =( So, Saturday morning my Mam took her straight to the Vet for a check up. Turns out she's been in a scrap with another cat, who has obviously bitten Mary right near where her tail joins her body, and it's gone unnoticed because she hasn't shown any sign of anything being wrong until now. So she's had a super strength antibiotic injection and is back at the vet on Monday, and again the Monday after as she's lost some weight. Poor baby, she is so down in the dumps =(
